At the base of that high rock face is a fish hatchery installed several years ago by Association volunteers, under direction from the Ministry of Natural Resources and local Fish Hatchery volunteers. It's now a foot to a foot and a half above the new water level ... well out of reach of most of the fish species known to inhabit McKellar lake.
