McKellar Madness is an almost annual event primarily for the kids. For the past few years, it has been organized by Al Last and his merry band of volunteers. The day featured a great barbeque lunch, a number of land and water games for the kids, ribbons for just about everyone and a midnight canoe ride for anyone still awake. Al retired following McKellar Madness 2000. Anyone willing to volunteer to lead and coordinate the event is asked to contact one of the board members.
